All Toyota C-HR trims come with the same engine, which is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that sports 144 horsepower and 139 foot-pounds of torque. Drivers are also limited to single transmission and drivetrain options. The base transmission is a continuously variable transmission with intelligence and shift mode. The drivetrain that come with the base LE is front-wheel drive. The Toyota C-HR comes with a long list of safety features, which includes ten airbags, three-point seatbelts for all seating positions, hill start assist control, a tire pressure monitor system, and a Star Safety system. The Star Safety system is an umbrella name for a host of features that include: vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, smart stop technology, and brake assist. Standard interior convenience and comfort features include dual zone automatic climate control, a leather-trimmed shift lever, remote keyless entry, and sport fabric-trimmed front bucket seats.
