The base trim also provides Falls Church area drivers with a rear-wheel drive drivetrain configuration and a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission (with triple-cone synchromesh, ball-bearing mounted shift linkage, and reverse gear lockout protection). The standard suspension on the base 86 trim is a sport-tuned MacPherson struct suspension (front and rear). Wondering what safety features come with the base 86 trim? "Alexandria drivers can expect airbags, seatbelts for all seating positions, vehicle stability control track mode, lower anchors and tethers for children (LATCH), and a tire monitor system. The standard 86 also comes with the Star Safety system, which is a handful of safety features that includes brake assist, traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, and smart stop technology. What about technology, you ask? The four-seater Toyota coupe packs a seven-inch touch screen infotainment interface, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a USB port, an auxiliary port, and an eight-speaker audio system.
