Toyota Corolla vs Honda Civic

  • Price: The Corolla is more affordable, starting at $19,385, than the Civic, starting at $20,415, so you can save money when you choose the Corolla.
  • Size: Both vehicles offer room for five and they have similar amounts of passenger and cargo space. However, your passengers can enjoy a few extra inches of rear legroom in the Corolla.
  • Performance: The Civic offers a little more power. However, both vehicles offer great fuel economy, getting about the same MPG.
  • Safety: Both models earned 5-star front crash test ratings and offer driver-assist safety technology, but the Corolla offers a few additional safety features like front knee air bags, a front seatbelt height adjuster for additional safety.
  • Features: The Corolla offers a few additional interior features like split-folding rear seats, voice-activated controls and more, that you won't find in the Civic.

Toyota Corolla vs Ford Focus

  • The Corolla offers a better NHTSA front passenger crash test rating for additional safety in the event of a collision.
  • Standard Hill Start Assist Control helps you stay in control in the Corolla, while the Focus does not offer this feature.
  • Taller drivers and passengers can stay more comfortable in the Corolla, since it offers more legroom in both the front and rear, along with more interior volume than the Focus.
  • The Corolla has a longer cruising range per tank of gas, so you can stay out on the road for longer.
  • You'll find additional features like standard automatic headlights in the Corolla, which you won't find in the Focus.

The 2018 Toyota Corolla vs. the 2018 Kia Forte

  • City drivers will be delighted to learn than the base Toyota Corolla model is capable of achieving an EPA-estimated 28 miles per gallon in the city with its standard engine; the Kia Forte, on the other hand, can only provide an EPA-estimated 25 miles per gallon in the city with the standard engine.
  • Sporting a standard continuously variable-speed automatic transmission, the 2018 Toyota Corolla provides you with an easier, calmer, more care-free driving experience than the 2018 Kia Forte's standard 6-speed manual transmission.
  • Similarly, the 2018 Corolla comes standard with cruise control to make your time on the highway as easy and smooth as possible; the Kia Forte, on the other hand, does not offer cruise control as a standard feature.
  • The Kia Forte comes with a number of standard safety features but it simply cannot compare with the comprehensive safety technology of the Corolla. Coming standard with the Toyota Safety Sense P suite of technologies - including Lane Departure Alert With Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection - as well as a standard backup camera and front knee airbags, the Corolla handily blows the Kia Forte clean out of the water without even breaking a sweat.
  • Additionally, the Corolla offers vehicle speed proportional power steering to help your handling on any road; the Forte simply doesn't offer this feature.
  • A standard 6-speaker sound system in the Corolla provides more satisfaction on the go than the Forte's standard 4-speaker sound system, and standard voice-activated controls in the Camry (not available in the Forte) make searching for your favorite songs as safe as it is convenient.
  • Drivers and passengers with longer legs will love how the Camry provides more leg room in both the front and the back seats.
