From its sleek exterior to its tech-savvy and comfort-laden interior, the latest model year of the Toyota Avalon offers drivers a distinctly modern sedan. The Toyota Avalon gets a host of new updates, adding Android Auto, all-wheel drive, a new Nightshade Edition, and USB-C ports. The new Toyota Avalon provides drivers with seating for up to five, two engine options, and a suave, comfy interior.

All trim levels of the Toyota Avalon come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, which bundles together a host of features. Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian detection), lane-keeping assist, full-speed radar cruise control, and automatic high beam assist. The Toyota Avalon also provides several additional driver assistance features beyond the Toyota Safety Sense package, those include intelligent clearance sonar and blind-spot monitoring.

Standard Equipment

The base XLE Avalon includes an impressive set of features for drivers to enjoy. The XLE includes a 9-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a basic audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Avalon is powered by a brawny 301 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, and front-wheel drive.

Notable Available Features

The Avalon provides drivers with a seriously long list of available upgrades, all of which are attached to various trim levels. Above the XLE is the XSE, which includes a moonroof, a sport-tuned suspension, and paddle shifters. The Limited trim touts heated/ventilated front seats, leather-trimmed seats, a JBL premium audio system, and genuine wood interior trim. The Avalon TRD takes a more performance-oriented approach, adding in a track-tuned suspension, lowered ride height, and performance exhaust.
