Toyota has decided to redesign one of their most popular models, making it even more appealing to its customers. The 2019 Toyota Avalon has recently shown off its new design, engine, and interior features, and our team at Koons Arlington Toyota is quite impressed. We want to let you know everything that this upcoming model will have, getting you ready if you are hoping to buy one upon release. We encourage you to contact us, asking any questions that you have, or come visit us if your current Toyota needs any repairs or new parts.

One of the first questions we get about redesigns is always about the engine, so let us start with that! There is still a Hybrid option, and a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. While it is still the same liters and cylinders, it is a new engine that is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission instead of a six. While Toyota has not yet released horsepower yet, the same engine can be found in the Toyota Camry, and that one makes 301 horsepower, so it can be guessed that it will be a similar number, being a power increase from the 2018 Avalon's 248 horsepower.

Many people are curious about the latest look of the Avalon, we want you to know that it has a more angular and bold look due in part to the redesigned grille. On the inside, you will find some higher-quality materials and new accents, along with a floating center console.
