Everybody likes to cheer for the underdog or even for a hero that's fallen and making its way back. We at Koons Arlington Toyota serving Washington DC are no exception. We happen to have a great story to tell that plays directly into this them. You might be surprised, but this story is about a big player in the automotive world; one that values reliable, practical, fuel-efficient?.we're talking about none other than Toyota.
You may recall that the Japanese automaker experienced not one, but two natural disasters in 2011. This in turn reduced production and inventory, and subsequently sales fell.
2012 is another year however, and Toyota has been churning out quality cars for eager customers. The sales numbers reflect the success they have been having.
While forecasters tend to agree the overall industry will achieve at least a 30-percent boost due to improved consumer confidence, industry gurus such as TrueCar.com and Edmunds.com project that Toyota could possibly grow 90 percent compared to last year.
Cars.com is supporting this notion that some might find hard to believe. The revered auto guru suggests Toyota sales will even surpass their fiercest competitor, Ford. And in speaking with a new Toyota dealer, Cars.com shows it's not just the critics who are seeing a very positive upward trend for Toyota? We believe shocking was the descriptor used.
Do you have thoughts on how they will perform? Will Toyota be the auto industry's next comeback kid?
There are people who already feel this is the case. We however, would love to hear what you have to say. We invite you to post your thoughts. You can also be sure Koons Arlington Toyota of Arlington will bring you more Toyota news soon.
